You lucky dog, your partner, popped the question. You’re going to the chapel, and you’re gonna get married. This day should be one of the most memorable and happiest moments of your life, but you’re feeling a little insecure about your body and are worried about that last piece of pizza you ate. Well, girl, I’ve got you covered. I can’t help you with your wedding menu but come with me as I cover some tips and tricks I’ve found that help me feel fierce.
Preparation is key. Not only does it help to be prepared for any type of wedding disaster like last-minute place cards, but preparing your mind and body for the big day is a must as well. Let’s cover the body part of that last sentence in this section. Let’s get physical, and I’m not talking about in the sheets, so get your mind out of the gutter. I know that working out can be challenging and like the last thing you want to do, but not only is it good for our body but our mind as well. I’m not saying go hit the gym and walk yourself to death on the treadmill. Find something you enjoy, whether that is a dance class, taking a stroll in nature, or riding a bike. Find something physical today because when you see your body getting stronger, it is going to make you feel more sexy and confident in your own skin. Now that you’re feeling those endorphins help your body help you even more by fueling your body with those delicious fruits and veggies. To begin eating heather, you don’t have to cut out everything you love but start with eating a salad instead of a sandwich for lunch. Start small and make more changes as you go. Take the pressure off yourself and enjoy your body. It will appreciate it, and you’ll start feeling better each day that passes.
Ommm, OOOmmmm! Oh, you caught me well I was trying to meditate. The most important word there is “trying.” Physical fitness and eating well will help trim your body down and make you feel more confident and sexy, but your mind also needs a little TLC and to destress as well. So take a minute for yourself and put down your wedding program template just for one min because one of the best ways I have learned to help my mind chill is through meditation. Look, I am no expert, nor do I meditate as much as I should but by only pausing from my busy schedule and let my mind wander puts me in a better mood. Maybe you can’t sit still, and you would instead shoot your foot off than sit on the ground and try to clear your mind. That’s okay. I think there are other ways you can let your mind destress and wander. I believe yoga is a great option. It helps your mind get to a calm state; also, your body will get more flexible, and that is never a bad thing, especially for that wedding night. Nature walks can also help your mind get into a more zen state.
You can take these tips and try them for yourself. I know that if you give them a shot, you will look and feel your best for your wedding day. One last thing I would like to mention is, wear something that makes you feel sexy. May that be some sexy lingerie you think you look bomb in, or maybe you have the most perfect wedding shoes that make you feel like a princess. Wear those items that make you feel like you are the hottest thing on two legs on your wedding day, and you will be glowing. Now get out there and get ‘em, tiger! It’s your day, and you are beautiful.
